The Sabah Forestry Department Organises talks, workshops, games, quiz competitions, camps,

guided tours on forest trails and galleries, painting competitions, exhibitions, forest

recreation and education centre management workshops and education

programmes on the environment for teachers and students.

 

The Department also provides training programs to develop

forest-related techniques and acquiring knowledge.

The Sabah Forest Training Institute in Telupid is the centre catering for a forest rangers

and short courses on fire prevention control  and Reduced Impact Logging.
